Sales Representative
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to VP of Sales. Effectively executes company sales plan. Develops new customers and achieves retention of existing clients on assigned equipment and in assigned territory.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Calls upon established and prospective customers in assigned sales territory.
- Assists the customer in determining equipment needs, obtains customers’ equipment specification in complete detail and closes sale.
- Keeps records and prepares sales activity reports. Submits reports to the VP of Sales monthly.
- Reports Customer satisfaction with quality and service to the VP of Sales.
- Maintains a professional appearance and an exemplary attitude when working with potential customers and co-workers.
- Monitors competitive activity and trends within territory.
- Maintains knowledge of product features, benefits and use.
- Provides own transportation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
Complete knowledge of selling techniques and ability to close sells.
Prior sales experience helpful.
Valid drivers license and good driving record and certification of car insurance.
